Product Visibility and Options:
•Publish to Web -
oAutomatic - The system automatically decides whether to publish the selected product based on predefined rules in eStore Settings Maintenance.
oYes - The selected product is always published and visible on the eStore.
oNo - The selected product is not published to the eStore and remains hidden from online listings.
•Allow Backorders -
oDefault - The system automatically decides whether to allow backorders on the selected product based on predefined rules in eStore Settings Maintenance.
oYes - No Notification - Backorders are allowed; customers can purchase the selected product when it is out of stock, but no stock-related message will be displayed in the cart.
oYes - Show Notification - Backorders are allowed for the selected product, and customers are shown a message indicating how many of the the item will be backordered.
oNo - Backorders are not allowed; customers will not be able to purchase the selected product when it is out of stock.
•Visibility Option -
oStandard - Regular product visibility. The product is shown normally in listings and remains available unless unpublished/hidden.
oHidden - The selected product is not visible on the eStore by default, but is uploaded to the eStore and may be visible to individual customers or users as defined in eStore Customer Product Visibility Maintenance.
oClearance/Standard (Featured, On Clearance, Remove Promo Prices when Sold Out) - The selected product is marked as On Clearance and Featured. Promotional pricing is applied but automatically removed when the product sells out.
oClearance/Deleted (Featured, On Clearance, Remove Promo Prices and Hide when Sold Out) - The selected product is marked as On Clearance and Featured. Promotional pricing is applied but automatically removed when the product sells out, and the product is automatically hidden once sold out as well.
oDeleted (Remove when sold out) - The selected product will be automatically removed from the eStore once sold out. It remains in BBS but is no longer visible online until it comes back in stock.
oFeatured Product (Top of Lists) - Highlights the selected product as a featured item, ensuring it appears at the top of product listings and search results.
•Description Override - Users can enter a permanent or temporary product description that replaces the standard one displayed online. Expires - The date when the override description will revert back to the original product description, or blank for a permanent description override.
•Out of Stock Message - Users can specify a custom message that appears on the eStore when the product is out of stock (e.g. “More stock arriving soon” or “Available for backorder”). Expires - The date when the custom message will automatically expire and revert to the default system message (or blank for it to never expire).
UOM Override - The unit of measure override or click the  to search. This allows your eStore to show a different selling unit than the stock unit.
For example, if your stock UOM is “Each” but you want the product displayed online as “Box”, you can set the UOM Override to Box.
UOM CVF - The conversion factor between your stock UOM and the UOM Override entered. If your stock UOM is Each, and you’ve set the UOM Override to Box, where one box contains 12 items, the UOM CVF should be 12.
Publish Selling Units -
•System Default - System default settings will be used as defined in eStore Settings Maintenance - Product Settings.
•Yes - Selling units of measure for the selected product will display on the eStore.
•No - Selling units of measure for the selected product will NOT display on the eStore. |
